We ate there today on an off-hour. The food was terrific. The coconut cream pie was perfect. Best of all, the service was timely, thoughtful, and exactly what you wish all restaurants would strive for. Our appetizer was brought out so efficiently that our hangry kids didn't have time to get restless. The sides were brought shortly after. No glass was ever empty. This is the service that tips were designed for. Thank you, Clark's.

Two huge pieces of catfish filets and a side of deep-fried baked baked potato and coleslaw for 12? Say no more! The fish was tender and flaky, the potato was crispy, and the coleslaw was excellent as well! Excellent value!

We go there all the time. Very consistent very delicious. Fast service and the best omelette I've ever had. Very historic also it was the first trading post West of the Mississippi. Great view of the river also. Not fancy at all but really great food at really reasonable prices.

These are the places we look for. Family run. When we were there mom was in rhe kitchen and daughter was waitressing. Homemade food. The hot beef was actually made and not deli sliced sandwich meat and my Wife really enjoyed her hamburger.

Upon first sight , this place looks like a run down creeper house. Once inside you find a small quaint little diner arrangement with more seating than expected. I’ve eaten here before and I’m impressed every time . The service is absolutely worthy of a five star bistro in A large city . The waiter/ waitresses very friendly and work hard to please you. The place was nearly full and almost everyone inside , customers especially, were extremely chatty and friendly. The food was definitely some of the very best on the planet! I’ve never seen my sons face light and relax into pure joy like the moment he bit into his Cowboy burger. Myself, could not get enough of the mouth watering crinkle fries done perfectly, without salt clouding the taste , not greasy at all , and the melt in your mouth French dip was the best I’ve ever had across the country. It didn’t come on a chewy hard bread. It came on a very tasty moist perfect roll.i was even more supremely happy when the unfinished portion of my sandwich was nearly the same as it when it arrived in my plate at the restaurant. I will return again . I especially recommend the cheese balls and corn nuggets as appetizers, and so many people rave about the Saturday special Fajitas . Portions were very well sized for the price . And I nearly forgot to mention the fresh home made ranch dressing is to die for!

Such a consistent good meal. We drive 40 minutes one way to get our fix. Staff is ALWAYS pleasant and attentive. It’s hard to find consistency anymore and I’ve never had an “off day” here. Seriously thank you so much for keeping us all fed

The perfect spot for some comfort food. Amazing homemade gravy and strawberry shakes all for a great price. The waitress was super friendly and attentive, and although it’s very small, didn’t feel to tight.I will definitely be going again.
